The Building Engineering Services Association (formerly known as the HVCA) is the UK's leading trade organisation for building engineering services contractors – representing the interests of firms active in the design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, control and management of engineering systems and services in buildings.

Building Services Research and Information Association (BSRIA) is a non-profit distributing, member-based association promoting knowledge and providing specialist services for construction and building services stakeholders. Our mission is to make buildings better by improving their environmental, operational and occupational values, and we support the industry by providing guidance and solutions. 

The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) received its Royal Charter in 1976. It is the professional body that exists to: ‘support the Science, Art and Practice of building services engineering, by providing our members and the public with first class information and education services and promoting the spirit of fellowship which guides our work.' 

ECA is the UK’s leading trade association that represents and supports the interests of businesses and organisations involved in electrotechnical and engineering services design, installation, inspection, testing, maintenance and monitoring across the United Kingdom (excluding Scotland). Since 1901. The Fire and Security Association (FSA) is the UK’s leading representative body for businesses that design, install, commission, maintain and monitor active fire, emergency and security systems. FSA members in England, Wales and NI are also ECA members

The Federation of Environmental Trade Associations (FETA) is UK trade body which represents the diverse interests of manufacturers, suppliers, installers and contractors within the building services sector. It is split into six principal Associations ADCAS, BCIA, BFCMA, BRA, HEVAC and HPA. 

The Lift and Escalator Industry association (LEIA) is the trade association and advisory body for the lift and escalator industry, formed in 1997 by the merging of two long-standing associations with a history dating back to 1932. With a membership covering some 85% of the lift and escalator industry, LEIA represents a single voice for the sector.
